The Point Arena Merchants Association (PAMA)
consists of a group of local merchants with the objective
of increasing visitation and revenue for the Point Arena area.

Our goal is to involve more local citizens in promoting the city, its historic buildings and natural sites, extend the tourist season, and take advantage of the full array of unique attractions in and around the city of Point Arena.

Plans to achieve these objectives include establishing new city wide events, expanding successful existing events, and creating occasions of interest for new visitors.

Activities already executed or in the works:
. Five page spread on Point Arena and its attractions in the
summer issue of the Mendocino Visitors Guide
. Simple brochure printed and in place at local businesses
. Brochure distributed at the recent Sunset Travel Show in San Francisco
. Development of a full color brochure illustrated with a hand drawn
map of the area for use outside of our area
. This Point Arena web site
. Advertisements in the travel section of the Sacramento Bee (summer)
and San Francisco Chronicle (fall) newspapers and linked web sites.
. Development of a historical self guided tour/flyer
. Expansion of activities associated with the Blues Weekend
. Daffodil festival in the Spring & Naked Lady Festival in the Fall

In order to fully develop these initiatives, we need donations of time, expertise, and money. Feel free to contact us through the email link below if you would like to join in these endeavors. In addition, someone from PAMA will be contacting you in the near future to discuss ways in which you might participate. If you would like to help out financially, you can drop off your check at the Redwood Credit Union. Make the check out to Tracy DuPont and tell them it is for the Point Arena Merchants Association.

We encourage interested merchants and residents
to get involved with PAMA. It will benefit the entire community.
